WAKEFIELD– Superintendent David DiBarri is pleased to share that several Northeast Metro Tech Students placed at the District III SkillsUSA Conference and qualified to compete in the statewide conference.

“We are so proud of the phenomenal skill and knowledge our students demonstrated at the District III conference in February. These students are deeply committed to their education and their futures, and it is so exciting to see many of them moving on to compete in the state conference later this school year,” Superintendent DiBarri said. “I would also like to recognize our Skills Advisors, Chris Donahue and Randy Allender, for all their hard work in supporting our students this year.”

The District III SkillsUSA Conference was held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and Northeast Metro Tech students participating in the competition did so in-person at Northeast Metro Tech. This year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, participants were able to participate in-person, at their schools, or virtually, if required by COVID-19 related policies of their sending school.
