BURLINGTON — Library Director Michael Wick would like to announce that the Burlington Public Library will be holding a seminar on tips and tricks for job searching later this month.

On Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m., career coach Meredith Lavine will cover numerous topics revolving around getting a job, including organization for job searches, online applications, social media savvy and the importance of a complete LinkedIn profile. There will also be some tips on resumes and cover letters, as well as some alternative routes to finding job opportunities.

Registration for the event is required and can be completed here.

“This is a great program for anyone who is currently looking for a job or will be in the future,” Wick said. “We hope that residents will use this as an opportunity to learn from an expert in career paths and job hunting.”

Lavine has been working with corporate and personal clients to realize their career goals and stand out from the crowd in applications since 2008. More information on the event can be found here. Those with questions about the program can call 781-270-1691 or emailing [email protected].
