EASTON — Chief Kevin Partridge is pleased to announce that the Easton Fire Department will be taking Santa Claus on a parade around town next week.
WHEN:
Wednesday, Dec. 23, beginning at 4 p.m.
WHERE:
The Santa parade will begin and end at Station 1 on Lothrop Street.

WHAT:
This will be the Easton Fire Department’s first-ever Santa parade. During his visit, Santa will ride in a decorated Easton fire truck and will wave to residents.
The Easton Fire Department asks residents to ensure that proper social distancing is being maintained, to wear masks and use extreme caution while Santa is traveling throughout the town.
On the day of the visit, residents are asked not to call the station for the location of Santa as this may take dispatchers away from responding to emergencies. Instead, residents are encouraged to keep an eye and ear out for Santa’s arrival.
The parade is expected to be complete by approximately 5 p.m.
“We are excited to be able to spread some holiday cheer in our community with the department’s first-ever Santa parade, and we encourage everyone to come out and wave to Santa along the route,” Chief Partridge said. “Traveling with Santa through our streets will be a fun and socially distanced way to celebrate the holiday and I am grateful to the members of our department for their hard work in bringing this event to fruition.”
