RAYNHAM — Police Chief James Donovan reports the Raynham Police Department is investigating a breaking and entering at Green Patch Raynham that occurred earlier this week.
On Monday, Nov. 30, Raynham Police received a report about a breaking and entering believed to have occurred just after midnight at Garden Patch Raynham, 59 New State Highway. Surveillance footage showed a suspect pushing a dumpster up against the fence surrounding the business in order to enter the property. The incident was reported to police later that morning after the business owners noticed damage to the property.
The suspect left with two cash registers, a backpack blower, two chainsaws, 30 jars of jam, 20 wreaths, a box of 30 “swag” decorations, a drill and box of drill bits, and two Rubber Maid containers full of ornaments. The suspect also caused a significant amount of property damage.
The individual is believed to be a white male with a neck tattoo on his right side and tattoos on both hands. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, stocking style hat, jogger sweatpants and a backpack with webbing worn on the back, and believed to be driving a Nissan Rogue.
The incident remains under investigation.
