HAMPTON — Superintendent Dr. Lois Costa is pleased to share that the Hampton School District will continue to offer free breakfasts and lunches to all students through the end of June 2021.
The free meals are available to all students. The U.S. Department of Agriculture initially announced nationwide funding that would provide free breakfast and lunch meals to students through Dec. 31, and has since extended that offer through June 30, 2021.
“During these challenging times, we are grateful to be able to offer free breakfast and lunch meals for all students so that families have one less thing to worry about,” Superintendent Costa said. “We are pleased that this incredible resource for our community will remain available through the rest of the school year.”
Meals are delivered to students on they days that they are in school. Those who wish to receive meals on remote learning days or are participating in fully remote learning should contact Food Service Director Mary Borg at 603-926-9826.

Though meals will remain free through the remainder of the school years, families who are eligible for free or reduced meals are encouraged to still fill out their application and submit online. Along with free or reduced meals, those who qualify for this program also receive additional benefits, such as discounts or waived fees on academic tests or college applications. Data from the program is also used to determine what funding should be provided to the district and its programs.
