ACTON — Chief Richard Burrows reports that a Littleton man has been arrested following a stabbing in town yesterday.

EDUARDO QUINTANA, 20, OF LITTLETON, has been charged with:

  • Assault and Battery by Dangerous Weapon: Knife

He was scheduled to be arraigned today in Concord District Court.

At 4:37 p.m. on Tuesday, Acton Police were notified of a reported fight between approximately eight people in the Nonset Path area. Police were also informed that those involved dispersed in two motor vehicles.

Shortly after the report, Acton Police learned from Tewksbury Police that a man had walked into a clinic in Tewksbury with injuries that were serious, but not believed to be life-threatening, from a stabbing that reportedly took place in Acton. He was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.

Police launched an investigation into the Nonset Path area altercation, and ultimately identified QUINTANA as the individual believed to have stabbed the victim.

This incident remains under investigation by Acton Police.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
