CONCORD- Chief Joseph F. O’Connor reports that a Boston man has been arrested in connection with a bank robbery earlier this week.
ANGEL A. ROBLES, AGE 45, of HYDE PARK was arrested and charged with Robbery, Armed and Masked.
On Monday, Nov. 9, at approximately 2:50 p.m., the Concord Police Department received a report of a robbery which had occurred at the Citizens Bank located at 97 Lowell Road. Police Officers and Detectives began a preliminary investigation of the robbery. The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and the Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services unit provided assistance with the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, ROBLES was identified as the suspect in the robbery and Concord Police Detectives obtained an arrest warrant from Concord District Court on Thursday Nov. 12.
“I am pleased to see a quick arrest of this dangerous person,” Chief O’Connor said. “This case demonstrates the importance of our law enforcement partnerships and I want to thank all who were involved in the investigation for their efforts.”
ROBLES was arrested in Boston yesterday by members of the Violent Crimes Task Force. He is expected to be arraigned in Concord District Court at a later date.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
