NEW LONDON, N.H. — Superintendent Winfried Feneberg is pleased to announce that Kearsarge will continue to offer free breakfast and lunches to all children 18 and under through the end of June 2021.
The free meals are available to all students. The program, which began over the summer before being extended to Dec. 31, will now continue through June 30, 2021.
The program is made possible by funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which supported the distribution of about 6,200 meals to Kearsarge students during the summer months. All childrenin the region aged 18 and under are eligible for free breakfast and lunch.
“This has been an incredible resource for our school community over the last several months, and we’re excited to be able to continue it through the remainder of the school year,” Superintendent Feneberg said.
