BRIDGEWATER — Town Manager Michael Dutton, Health Agent Eric Badger and Library Director Jed Phillips are pleased to announce that the Bridgewater Public Library will resume its curbside operations on Monday morning, Oct. 5 after two employees tested negative for COVID-19.
Out of an abundance of caution the library’s services remain suspended through Friday, which has allowed the town to conduct an intensive sanitation of the facilities and to review and enhance the library’s COVID-19 safety protocols. The library team is excited to resume its schedule on Monday with curbside delivery occurring on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The inside of the library remains closed and programming remains suspended due to the pandemic,
Town officials were notified last week that two employees developed cold-like symptoms. Services were immediately closed, and the two employees were given COVID-19 tests, consistent with the town’s public health protocols.
Residents with questions about the library operations may contact Library Director Phillips at jphillips@bridgewaterma.org.
