CANTON — Superintendent Jill Rossetti and Principal Geoffrey Zini would like to invite parents and guardians to attend Blue Hills Regional’s virtual Freshmen Parent Orientation Night.
“We would like to encourage all ninth grade students and their families to attend our virtual Freshmen Parent Orientation Night to learn more about the programs and opportunities we offer our students,” Superintendent Rossetti said. “Throughout the orientation, we will have members of our staff discussing all that we have to offer and will allow families the opportunity to ask questions.”

Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m.

WHAT:
Blue Hills’ Freshmen Parent Orientation Night will be livestreamed in place of an in-person event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The orientation event is for incoming ninth-graders and their families. Throughout the evening, academics, activities and athletics will be discussed.
The agenda for the night is as follows:
- Welcome – Superintendent Rossetti
- Introductions & Reopening Overview – Principal Zini
- Academics & Title 1 Program – Academic Director Dr. Paul Bavuso
- Vocational Programs – Vocational Director Michelle Sylvia
- Attendance and Discipline – Dean of Students Tom Cavanaugh
- Special Education & Support Services – Director of Special Services Angelo Dimitriou
- Guidance Services – Guidance Department
- Closing – Principal Zini
The live stream orientation is expected to last no more than one hour.
