WRENTHAM — Town Administrator Kevin Sweet would like to inform residents of a town-wide survey that is now available as part of the Town’s upcoming Master Plan.

The Town has begun work on Wrentham 2030: A Vision of Tomorrow, a Master Plan that will guide the Town’s land use policy, investments and decisions for the next 10 years.

The survey, which can be accessed here, is a first step in a year-long planning process. The questions aim to collect feedback on residents’ vision for the town, its strengths and opportunities for improvement. The survey is anonymous, and all questions are optional.

Everyone who lives, works or plays in Wrentham is invited to take the survey, which should take approximately 10-12 minutes to complete.

“The public’s participation in this planning effort is critical to its success as we look to the future and where we want Wrentham to be,” Director of Planning Rachel Benson said. “Over the course of the next year there will be several other opportunities for residents to participate in the Master Planning effort, and we look forward to developing a plan that represents the many varied interests and needs of our citizens.”

Town officials are guiding the plan process, with help from a steering committee made up of local leaders and technical assistance from the Metropolitan Area Planning Council in Boston.

The town-wide survey is part of the initial visioning phase, which will also include a public hearing and additional meetings from the steering committee. By later this year, the Town will enter the plan development phase, which will include additional surveys, public hearings and focus groups.

For more information about the project, contact Benson at [email protected] or 508-384-5400, ext. 5486.
