RANDOLPH — Chief William Pace reports that the Randolph Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place this afternoon.
At approximately 1:40 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the area of Christopher Road and Chestnut Street for a report of gunshots.
A 20-year-old Randolph man was transported by friends to a local hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Ballistic evidence was recovered from the scene.
