ROCHESTER — City Manager Blaine Cox and Director of City Services Peter Nourse would like to formally welcome three new administrative staff members to the Department of Public Works.

Michele Grant, Ronda Boisvert and Kimberly Nickerson joined the team in September, November and December, respectively. Both Grant and Nickerson are administrators for the Utility Billing Office, and Boisvert is a secretary II for the DPW.

“We’re pleased to welcome all three to the department,” Nourse said. “They have already proven to be tremendous assets to our team and have already done an outstanding job in their new roles.”

Michele Grant

Grant joined the department on Sept. 2, 2019. Previously, she worked part-time as a Clerk and Customer Service Representative for the City Clerk’s Office for a little over two years. Prior to that, she worked at her private family business.

In her role, Grant helps produce invoices for approximately 7,900 water and 5,900 sewer accounts. She schedules the meter technicians for repair and maintenance calls, and monitors commercial accounts for backflow device compliance and testing. She also handles all customer service calls related to utility billing and collections.

Ronda Boisvert

Boisvert joined the department on Nov. 27, 2019. Prior to that, she worked in the claims department at the Lincoln Financial Group and the financial department at Liberty Mutual for 22 years.

In her role, Boisvert is responsible for a variety of tasks, including processing the payroll for all DPW employees, taking incoming customer service calls for roads, water, sewer and building maintenance. Her other responsibilities include processing invoices for industries related to our Sewer Industrial Pre-treatment Program, and documenting leases and lease payment processing at the Rochester Community Center.

Kimberly Nickerson

Nickerson joined the department on Dec. 9, 2019. Prior to that, she worked as a personal banker specializing in customer service at Profile Bank in for two years.

In her role, Nickerson helps produce invoices for approximately 7,900 water and 5,900 sewer accounts. She schedules the meter technicians for repair and maintenance calls, and monitors commercial accounts for backflow device compliance and testing. She also handles all customer service calls related to utility billing and collections.
