ACTON — Chief Robert Hart reports that the Acton Fire Department responded to an odor of smoke in the Town of Acton Human Services and Senior Center this morning.
At approximately 9:15 a.m., the Acton Fire Department responded to an odor of smoke at the 30 Rear Sudbury Road building. After an initial investigation, first responders found that the odor was caused by a burnt belt in the rooftop HVAC unit.
No one was injured and business continued as usual. Management will be servicing the HVAC unit.
Crews left the scene shortly after 9:50 a.m.
