CONCORD – Chief Joseph O’Connor reports that the Concord Police Department has arrested two brothers following a recent break-in to a local business.
BRANDON FAIETA, 33, OF CLINTON and JASON FAIETA, 36, OF CLINTON, have both been charged with:
- Breaking and Entering into a Building in the Nighttime with Intent to Commit a Felony
- Larceny Under $1,200
- Larceny from a Building
- Receiving Stolen Property Under $1,200
At 12:33 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, Concord Police responded to the Concord Cheese Shop at 29 Walden St. in response to an alarm which had been triggered on site. Upon arrival, police found a ladder propped up against the back of the building leading up to a second story window.
A key holder to the building arrived on scene, and through a subsequent investigation, police found an undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen from the business. The building’s alarm is believed to have been triggered when the back door to the building was opened.
Through their investigation, Concord Police allegedly identified BRANDON FAIETA as a suspect, and subsequently identified JASON FAIETA as having allegedly been involved in the break-in as well. BRANDON FAIETA was released on $200 bail on Jan. 3, and was arraigned on Monday, Jan. 6 in Concord District Court. Judge Lynn Brendemuehl set bail at $200 and ordered him to stay away from the Concord Cheese Shop and to stay away from and have no contact with any witnesses. His next court date is March 4.
“Our officers were able to conduct a thorough investigation into this incident and identify the individuals that we believe are responsible,” Chief O’Connor said. “As a result of their skilled police work, we have since been able to apprehend two suspects in connection with this break-in.”
On Friday, Jan. 10, police obtained a warrant to arrest JASON FAIETA, who was arraigned today in Concord District Court. Judge Lynn Brendemuehl released JASON FAIETA on personal recognizance and ordered him to stay away from the Concord Cheese Shop and to stay away from and have no contact with any witnesses. His next court date is March 4.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
