King Philip Administrators Provide Update After Threatening Note Found on Campus
WRENTHAM — Superintendent Paul Zinni reports that the individual responsible for a concerning note located in a school bathroom Friday has been identified, and there is no threat to the school community.
King Philip administrators will work with the student found responsible to address it in accordance with district policies and procedures.
“I want to thank the school staff and members of law enforcement who quickly investigated this matter to ensure there was no danger to anyone,” Superintendent Zinni said.
On Friday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m., a high school staff member reported finding a crumpled note containing threatening language behind a toilet in a boys bathroom. The Wrentham Police Department was immediately notified and launched an investigation. The note did not reference specific acts of violence or specific weapons.
The Wrentham Police Department does not intend to file charges as a result of this incident.
