Medfield Public Schools Launches New App, Website
MEDFIELD — Superintendent Jeffrey Marsden is pleased to share that Medfield Public Schools has launched a new app and website to help parents stay up-to-date with school information.
The new app allows parents to access the district’s live news feed, daily cafeteria menus and required school forms, and provides updates about events occurring on campus. The app also allows the school to push emergency notifications and other updates to users’ phones in real time.
Medfield’s app has already been downloaded more than 1,000 times. It is available on Google Play and the Apple Store.
“We are very excited about the success we’ve seen with the app so far,” Superintendent Marsden said. “We know that smartphones are a fundamental tool of communication for many families. This app has proven to be an excellent way for us to stay connected with and keep parents informed and allows them to access a variety of district services right from their phones.”
The redesigned website, medfield.net, features a new, modernized design that gives parents access to the district’s news feed, pages for special projects and notices, downloadable forms and documents and staff contact information.
The app and website were designed by Apptegy and are powered by Thrillshare.
