King Philip Senior Recognized as Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Award Finalist
WRENTHAM — Superintendent Paul Zinni is pleased to announce that King Philip Regional High School Senior Faith Roy was selected as a finalist for the Positive Coaching Alliance’s (PCA) Triple-Impact Competitor scholarship award.
On Thursday, Sept. 12, the PCA recognized Roy for her contributions both on and off the basketball court. Roy is among 14 high school student-athletes in New England who have been selected as finalists from more than 3,500 applicants nationwide.
PCA’s Triple-Impact Competitor scholarship award highlights student-athletes who exemplify personal mastery, leadership and honoring of the game. Finalists were selected based on personal essays and recommendations from those who can attest to how they embody the Triple-Impact Competitor principles. All finalists will receive a scholarship of between $500-$2,000.
“Our entire district is extremely proud of Faith for earning this recognition,” Superintendent Zinni said. “Faith’s unwavering commitment and positive attitude sets an example for all King Philip Warriors.”
PCA will celebrate finalists through a combination of events, awards and student profiles throughout the upcoming academic year.
