Acton Police Investigating Robbery at Motel
ACTON — Chief Richard Burrows reports that the Acton Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a local motel last night.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, Acton Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Concordian Motel, 71 Hosmer St.
Upon arrival, officers initiated an on-scene investigation and were informed that a male suspect had shown a handgun and demanded money. The suspect left the area on foot with an undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries reported.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’11” and 180 lbs. He was wearing a hoodie which was pulled down to cover his face.
Officers searched the area with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing and a State Police K-9 unit, but were unable to locate the suspect.
