City of Rochester IT Services to be Temporarily Unavailable Monday Afternoon

ROCHESTER — City Manager Blaine Cox reports that Rochester’s IT services will be down for a period of time on Monday afternoon.

On Aug. 19, from 3-7 p.m., all city IT services will be unavailable to residents as Rochester moves several pieces of equipment in its data center.

Services that will be unavailable include:

  • Telephones
  • Email
  • Internet access
  • Customer Self Service
  • Access to ANY network shares / files / programs

Additionally, the work will affect the city’s ability to provide many services to customers, including auto registration, tax payments, and utility billing (water/sewer) payments.

The City of Rochester apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause to residents and thanks the community for its understanding and patience as it works to improve services.
