Arlington Police Investigating Armed Robbery
ARLINGTON — Acting Chief Julie Flaherty reports that the Arlington Police Department is searching for a man involved in an armed bank robbery on Wednesday morning.
Police responded to Winchester Savings Bank on Medford Street at approximately 10:20 a.m. this morning for a report of a robbery that had just taken place. Upon arrival, officers initiated an on-scene investigation and learned that a male had entered the bank, brandished a knife, demanded money from a bank teller and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a Red Sox hat, and is described as a white male believed to be in his 20s, approximately 5’10” tall with an average build.
No one was injured in the incident.
