Lynnfield Center Water District Releases Drinking Water Quality Report

LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield Center Water District announces that it has posted the 2018 Drinking Water Quality Report online.

Residents may review the report, as well as reports for past years, online here. Copies of the report will also be mailed to every home in the district within the next few days.

The Lynnfield Center Water District’s water met and exceeded all state and federal safety and health standards in 2018, according to testing of more than 1,200 samples. The district’s testing protocols and compliance are routinely monitored by state and federal regulators.

None of the naturally occurring contaminants detected during testing were near their individual highest allowable levels.

“Our entire organization takes tremendous pride in providing clean drinking water throughout the district,” Board of Water Commissioners Chair Robert Almy said. “The results of these extensive tests showcase that commitment, and I invite all residents of the district to review it.”
