Randolph Police Association Announces 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament
RANDOLPH — The Randolph Police Patrolmen’s Union Local 18 and the Randolph Police Association are pleased to announce that registration is now available for their 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
WHEN:
Sunday, Sept. 15. Check-in begins at noon. Tournament begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
WHERE:
Easton Country Club, 265 Purchase St., South Easton
WHAT:
The first annual Randolph Police Association Local 18 Patrolman’s Union Golf Classic raised $10,000 last year through generous donations from golfers and local businesses. Proceeds from the golf tournament support the police union’s charitable efforts throughout the year.
Last year’s tournament supported the Randolph Police Department’s Autism Awareness Patch Campaign, supported the Greg Hill Foundation charity hockey game put on annually by the police and fire departments, purchased Thanksgiving dinners for approximately 12 families with children in Randolph Public Schools, and additional funds were donated to a local family with a young child battling cancer.
Registration for the tournament is $125 per golfer or $500 per four person team, and checks can be made payable to the Randolph Police Patrolman’s Association. Registration forms and fees can be submitted at the Randolph Police Station on South Main Street.
The four person team with the lowest score at the event will be presented with a trophy at the end of the tournament.
There will also be a closest to the pin challenge on a par three hole, a hole in one challenge, a putting contest and a longest drive competition on one of the par five holes. The winners of each challenge will receive a prize.
After the tournament, a reception will be held in the clubhouse of Easton Country Club, where dinner and refreshments will be served.
Raffle items and silent auctions will be available for bid throughout the day and winners will be called at the conclusion of the event.
