Rochester Library Showcasing Art From Artstream Studios

ROCHESTER — Library Director Brian Sylvester is pleased to announce that the Rochester Public Library will exhibit student artwork throughout the coming month.

The library is currently displaying a variety of mixed media pieces created by the students at Artstream, a studio and art school in Rollinsford. Artstream owner Susan Schwake has been teaching in the greater Seacoast area for the last 20 years, splitting her time among her school, community settings, and public and private school residencies.

Schwake has also served as a guest instructor at colleges, museums and libraries.

“I’m excited to have work from Artstream on display at the library,” Sylvester said. “It’s a unique chance to showcase work from local artists of all ages and abilities all at once, and I encourage everyone to stop by and see their work up close.”

The pieces on display include paintings, sculptures and more by Schwake’s students, who range in age from children to adults. For more information on Artstream Studios, visit www.artstreamstudios.com
