Bridgewater Police Encourage Residents to Sign-Up for Notifications Regarding MCI-Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER — Chief Christopher Delmonte and the Bridgewater Police Department are encouraging residents to sign up for alerts regarding the Massachusetts Correctional Institution (MCI)-Bridgewater.

The RAVE Mobile Safety Alert System has been implemented at MCI–Bridgewater and will be used by the Department of Correction to send out notifications regarding emergencies, disorder incidents and escapes within the complex.

Those who would like to sign up to receive such notifications can send an email requesting to be on the notification list to Bridgewater Community Relations Board Executive Assistant Brenda Thibault at [email protected] or by calling 508-279-3802.

“We encourage all Bridgewater residents to sign up to receive these emergency notifications on a timely basis regarding incidents at the institutions at MCI – Bridgewater,” Chief Delmonte said.
