Middleborough Police Officer Graduates from Plymouth Police Academy

MIDDLEBOROUGH — Chief Joseph Perkins is pleased to announce that Middleborough’s newest police officer has graduated from the police academy today and will soon join the department as a sworn officer.

Officer Andrew LeFebvre, a lifelong resident of Middleborough, graduated today after 24 weeks of training at the Plymouth Police Academy’s 66th Recruit Officer Class. He was recognized at a ceremony today in Plymouth.

Officer LeFebvre will start his field training next week and will be sworn in at a ceremony at Middleborough Town Hall at a later date.

“I want to congratulate Andrew for his completion of the academy and commend him for being honored as the top student in his class,” Chief Perkins said. “I believe Middleborough is getting a promising new officer who grew up in town and has always called Middleborough home. I wish him the best of luck as he begins his career with our department.”
