Chelmsford Police Arrest Man Who Exposed Himself in Walmart
CHELMSFORD — Chief James Spinney reports that the Chelmsford Police Department arrested a man who allegedly exposed himself to a woman while in Walmart last night.
JONATHAN J. WENTZELL, AGE 29, OF CHELMSFORD is charged with Open and Gross Lewdness and Lascivious Behavior.
On Friday, Feb. 1, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Chelmsford Police received a report that a man had exposed himself to a female customer in an aisle in the Walmart at 66 Parkhurst Road.
Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect, and with the public’s assistance, were able to identify him as WENTZELL.
Just before 6 p.m. today, police located WENTZELL at Starbucks, 101 Drum Hill Road, where he was placed under arrest.
“Thank you to all members of the public who submitted tips to help us identify the suspect,” Chief Spinney said.
WENTZELL was transported and booked at the Chelmsford Police Department, where he is being held without bail.
These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
