GEORGETOWN — Chief Donald C. Cudmore and the Georgetown Police Department would like to thank the Delorenzo family of Georgetown Building Supply, Georgetown Liquors and The Stone Pantry for their generous donation to the Town of Georgetown.

Chief Cudmore recently accepted a $500 donation, which was a result of a raffle held at Georgetown Liquors.

The donation will be provided to Veterans Services Agent Karen Taylor to assist funding a number of programs in Georgetown that benefit the veteran community.

“The Delorenzo family has donated tens of thousands of dollars to the Georgetown Community since the 1950’s,” Chief Cudmore said. “Their generosity is truly amazing and we’re extremely grateful for their continued support.”
