ROCKLAND — Interim Town Administrator Marcia Birmingham and the Rockland Board of Selectmen would like to invite residents to attend a community engagement forum next week to gather their input about the qualifications and characteristics they believe Rockland’s next Town Administrator should possess.

“We are interested in hearing citizens’ recommendations regarding the expertise and background they would like their next Town Administrator to have,” said Larry Ryan, Chairman of the Rockland Board of Selectmen. “It is important that Rockland’s residents are an integral part of the Town Administrator selection process.”

WHEN:

Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m.

WHERE:

Rockland Senior High School, 52 Mackinlay Way, inside the Lecture Hall

WHAT:

The Rockland Board of Selectmen anticipates hiring a new Town Administrator within approximately four months and would first like to hear input from residents.

The Town has hired Plymouth-based consulting firm Community Paradigm Associates, LLC, to assist in the search process. In addition to the Board of Selectmen, representatives from the consulting firm, including Principal Bernard Lynch, will attend the community forum.
