Bridgewater Man Arrested and Charged with Selling Fentanyl
BRIDGEWATER — Chief Christopher Delmonte reports that members of the WEB Task Force arrested a Bridgewater man Monday on drug charges following a month-long investigation.
JOHN BAGLEY, AGE 44, OF BRIDGEWATER was charged with:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Class B Substance
BAGLEY is expected to be arraigned today in Brockton District Court.
At approximately 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, detectives from the local WEB Task Force, with the assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Narcotics Unit and the Pawtucket Police Detective Unit, executed search warrants at BAGLEY’S home and his place of business and seized his vehicle.
In searching BAGLEY’S home, police allegedly found and seized multiple pills, scales, multiple cell phones, drug packaging materials and approximately $3,000.
BAGLEY was taken into custody without incident and was taken to the Bridgewater Police Department to be booked.
The investigation began when police received information that BAGLEY was allegedly selling fentanyl pills in Bridgewater and surrounding communities. BAGLEY was using his home as his base of operations and was making drug deliveries with his vehicle.
Detectives worked to develop probable cause that BAGLEY was involved in narcotics distribution and were able to obtain search warrants of his home, place of business and vehicle.
These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
