Sudbury Police Arrest Indecent Exposure Suspect
SUDBURY — Chief Scott Nix is pleased to report that the Sudbury Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with an incident of indecent exposure that occurred late last week.
AMILCAR ANTONIO RIVAS-RIVERA, AGE 26, OF FRAMINGHAM was arrested Friday evening by Sudbury Police Detectives in Framingham with the assistance of Framingham Police Detectives, after an aggressive investigation. He has been charged with one count of Open and Gross Lewdness and Lascivious Behavior
“Would like to thank the numerous law enforcement entities who assisted in identifying the suspect, particularly Detective Spencer of the Lincoln Police Department who developed the sketch allowing us to further the investigation as well as Framingham Police who assisted during the arrest,” Chief Nix said.
On Friday, Dec. 28, at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sudbury Police responded to an ATM kiosk located in the parking lot at 505 Boston Post Road for a report of indecent exposure. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a woman who told police that she had observed the suspect sitting inside his vehicle, which he had parked next to hers, with his pants down and touching his genitals in a sexual manner. The victim gave police a good description of the suspect and his vehicle, which helped lead to his capture.
RIVAS-RIVERA is being held $15,000 cash bail pending arraignment Monday in Framingham District Court.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
