On Wednesday, Dec. 5, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police executed three arrest warrants and one search warrant, as part of the culmination of a three-month investigation into an alleged drug trafficking ring operating in the region.
The target of the investigation, GONZALEZ, was arrested by detectives as part of a controlled narcotics purchase in Randolph, along with RIVERA-SANCHEZ.
Simultaneously, Boston Police detectives assisted with the execution of a search warrant at GONZALEZ’S residence at 67 Winthrop St., Roxbury.
During the search of the apartment, detectives observed a female party, identified as FRANJUL, drive up to the front of the apartment building in a silver Honda Accord. She was subsequently placed under arrest. FRANJUL had allegedly used the vehicle during several undercover drug buys throughout the course of the investigation.
ANDUJAR was arrested at his home on Woodbole Avenue in Boston.
About 50 grams of a mixture of Fentanyl and heroin, were purchased by an undercover officer on 11 different occasions as the investigation went on. During the execution of the search warrant, a 9mm handgun and ammunition was found in a common area of the apartment building and seized. Additionally, approximately $3,000 in cash and the Honda sedan were seized as a result of the search warrant.
