Pepperell Police Charge Bridge Vandalism Suspect
PEPPERELL — Chief David Scott reports that the Pepperell Police Department identified and charged a suspect in connection with vandalism found on the covered bridge in town and signage at Prudence Wright Overlook.
JOSHUA CHISHOLM, AGE 29, OF LOWELL, AND FORMERLY OF PEPPERELL, is charged with two counts of Vandalizing Property.
In October, a resident notified Pepperell Police that the covered bridge on Groton Street had been vandalized. Police also later discovered graffiti on informational signs at Prudence Wright Overlook.
Over the last month, Pepperell Sgt. Alan Lessieur worked with detectives from the Tewksbury Police Department to identify a suspect after Tewksbury Police discovered several cases of vandalism that included markings similar to those found in Pepperell.
“I’d like to commend Sgt. Lessieur and the members of the Tewksbury Police Department for working together to identify this individual,” Chief Scott said.
