EASTON — Deputy Chief Keith Boone is pleased to announce that members of the Easton Police Department will once again participate in No Shave November.
Officers who choose to participate will donate money to Cops for Kids with Cancer in exchange for a month-long waiver from the department policy restricting facial hair growth.
Cops for Kids with Cancer is a charitable organization that supports families who are faced with the challenges of having a child with cancer. The organization provides emergency assistance to families, events for patients and their families and special “wishes” for teens, who are too old to be served by the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
“The work that Cops for Kids with Cancer does is extremely important, and we are proud to support this organization to help children and families in need,” Deputy Chief Boone said.
