Andover Police Arrest Five Suspects Following Motor Vehicle Break-Ins
ANDOVER — Chief Patrick Keefe reports that the Andover Police Department arrested five males allegedly responsible for breaking and entering into several motor vehicles earlier today.
The five suspects are charged with Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle in the Daytime with Intent to Commit a Felony:
- JULIO AYBAR, AGE 18, OF LAWRENCE
- MARINO PIMENTEL, AGE 18, OF LAWRENCE
- A 16-YEAR-OLD MALE FROM HAVERHILL
- A 17-YEAR-OLD MALE FROM HAVERHILL
- A 16-YEAR-OLD MALE FROM LAWRENCE
The three juveniles also had outstanding warrants out of Lawrence Juvenile Court.
Around noon today, Andover Police responded to the area of Stirling Street on a report that several individuals dressed in dark clothing and wearing hoodies were breaking into cars.
Upon arrival, police located five male suspects attempting to break into motor vehicles in the driveway of a home, who immediately fled on foot.
Andover Police Officers pursued the suspects on foot and were able to apprehend one of the juvenile suspects, while the remaining ran into a swamp adjacent to the Stirling Street neighborhood.
The North Andover Police K-9 unit responded to the scene, and following a search, police located the remaining four suspects. They were transported, booked and held at the Andover Police Station pending their arraignment at Lawrence District Court and Lawrence Juvenile Court.
