Bedford Police to Offer Civilian Response to Active Shooter Training Course
Free CRASE Training Offered to All
BEDFORD, N.H. — Chief John J. Bryfonski announces that the Bedford Police Department will offer community members a training session on civilians reacting to active shooter incidents in October.
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training is meant to prepare civilians for the possibility that they could be targeted in a violent intruder event, giving them knowledge to help save their own lives and the lives of others in the crucial minutes before law enforcement arrives.
“We have all wondered what we would do if faced with the situation of an individual who is threatening real and imminent harm,” Chief Bryfonski said. “Although there is no perfect model, this course will provide you with choices on what you can do to protect yourself.”

WHERE:
Saint Elizabeth Seton Church,190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford
