Suspicious Package Being Investigated at Rochester City Hall

ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE — City Manager Daniel Fitzpatrick, Police Chief Paul Toussaint and Fire Chief Mark Klose report that an investigation is underway after a suspicious package was delivered to Rochester City Hall today.

City Hall has been evacuated and a hazardous materials unit has been called to respond.

The suspicious package was first reported at approximately noon on Monday, May 21.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and City Hall will remained closed until further notice.

Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
