The Rochester Police Department, along with several partner organizations and sponsors, will host its annual Wings and Wheels event featuring a variety of fun, family-oriented activities.
The sixth annual event will include plane and helicopter rides, multiple demonstrations and performances throughout the day and a large selection of food trucks and concessions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites in the Car, Motorcycle and Aircraft Show, which showcases hundreds of vintage and custom vehicles and aircrafts that families can see up close.
Wings and Wheels will also feature a buffalo wing eating contest — with the winner earning a free helicopter ride — as well as skateboard demonstrations, skateboard painting, crafts, games and raffles.
“This event is something we look forward to every year, and we’re excited to invite members of the community for a day of fun activities that help support a good cause,” Chief Toussaint said.
While there is no cost of admission, attendees are encouraged to make a donation that will benefit local Rochester non-profit organizations and programs like SHARE Fund, FeastBox, Howie’s Field of Dreams and many more.
“Rochester Rotary is proud to be a part of this fun family event,” said Rochester Rotary member and event Co-Chair Jenn Marsh. “It is a great way to bring the community together in a unique and special way that’s enjoyable for people of all ages.”
