On Thursday, March 29, Revere and Saugus Police executed a search warrant at an apartment on Revere Beach Boulevard following a three month credit card fraud and larceny investigation.
During the execution of that warrant, officers seized two kilograms of cocaine, approximately $75,000 in cash, a firearm, a credit card embossing machine and a computer equipped with an encoder used to imprint names and account information to create fraudulent credit cards.
ALPHONSE and LUBIN were taken into custody without incident during the search.
“I want to commend our Detective Unit for their hard work on this case. I also want to thank the Revere Police Department,” Chief DiMella said. “Whenever you get drugs and a gun off the street and arrest the people allegedly responsible for bringing this into our neighborhoods it is a good day for law enforcement and the community.”
“I am proud of the continuing enforcement to rid the community of illegal narcotics and weapons, and I want to thank the Saugus Police Department for its invaluable support throughout this investigation,” Revere Police Chief James Guido said. “The Revere Police Department strives to make the City of Revere safer every day.”
ALPHONSE was arraigned yesterday in Chelsea District Court and held on $500,000 bail. Arraignment information for LUBIN was not immediately available.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
