HOLBROOK: The Holbrook Police Department announces the following —
“Currently over half the Town of Holbrook is without power. The power outage is anticipated to last approximately 72 hours per National Grid estimates. Those residents without power are encouraged to reach out to unaffected friends and family for support. The Town is opening a warming station at the Holbrook Public Safety Building at 4 p.m. today (Saturday). This warming station will be open until 10 p.m. and re-open at 8 a.m. tomorrow. We will maintain these hours for the duration of the outage.
“An overnight emergency shelter is available to Holbrook residents at the Weymouth High School, 360 Pleasant St., Weymouth.
“If you need a ride to the Public Safety building warming center or the Weymouth Shelter please call The Communications Center at 781-767-1212.”
