Bridgewater Police Investigate Shooting
BRIDGEWATER — Chief Christopher Delmonte reports that the Bridgewater Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened late Tuesday night.
At approximately 11 p.m., a resident from a Broad Street home called police to report that there was a man unconscious on their back porch that appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound.
ANDREW BARTLETT, AGE 42, OF TAUNTON suffered a single gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. His injury is not believed to be life threatening.
Bridgewater Police detectives are investigating the circumstances of the shooting and the initial investigation indicates that it did not occur at the Broad Street home where BARTLETT was found.
BARTLETT’S gray Nissan Altima was parked in the driveway of the home. Bridgewater Police seized the car as evidence and towed it to the police station.
If anyone observed anything suspicious Tuesday night around the same time or has any information that may be related to the incident, please contact Bridgewater Police Detective Peter Balboni directly at 508-659-1540.
