Holbrook Police Charge Two People with Selling Heroin
HOLBROOK — Chief William Smith reports that the Holbrook Police, along with the Randolph and Stoughton police departments, arrested a man and woman who were allegedly selling heroin out of their home early Friday morning.
JARED LOKEMAN, AGE 24, AND GIANNA CONTI, AGE 23, OF HOLBROOK, were charged with possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin).
At approximately 5 a.m., members of the Holbrook Police, South Shore Drug Task Force and MetroLEC SWAT unit executed a search warrant at the second floor apartment of 600 South Franklin St.
During a search of the residence, police found a substance believed to be heroin and placed LOKEMAN and CONTI under arrest. They were both taken into custody without incident.
Additional search warrants were also executed at homes in Randolph and Stoughton Friday morning, where arrests were made and drugs and cash were seized.
These arrests are the culmination of a months-long investigation into heroin being sold in the region.
“Any time we can get heroin and dealers off the streets is a good thing,” Chief Smith said. “I want to commend my officers, the Stoughton and Randolph police and the MetroLEC members who helped in this joint operation.”
Both LOKEMAN and CONTI were expected to be arraigned at Quincy District Court Friday.
