Stoneham Firefighters to Host Toy Drive with Santa to Help Families During the Holidays

STONEHAM –The Stoneham Firefighters Association would like to invite community members to its Breakfast with Santa event to help local children in need during the holidays.

Sunday, Dec. 10 from 9-11 a.m.

Montvale Plaza, 54 Montvale Ave., Stoneham

Santa will be visiting Stoneham from the North Pole to have breakfast with children and families for a couple hours next month.

The event is part of the Stoneham Firefighters Association’s annual holiday toy drive that benefits Toys for Local Children — a Somerville based organization dedicated to making holiday wishes come true for families in the area.

Anyone who brings an unwrapped toy for a child of any age to the event will be provided with a free breakfast and the opportunity to take pictures with Santa (please bring your own camera). Gift cards and monetary donations will also be accepted.

“This is a great opportunity for residents in the area to come out and tell Santa what’s on their wish list while also supporting local families in need of assistance this holiday season,” said event organizer, Firefighter Mike Labriola. “Every year this event grows and we hope our community members will continue to support this endeavor.”

The Stoneham Fire Department would like to thank Montvale Plaza for donating the space for Santa’s visit.

Anyone with questions can contact Firefighter Labriola or Firefighter Dan Kelleher at 781-438-0127.
