Randolph Police Investigating Alleged Home Invasion

RANDOLPH — Chief William Pace reports that the Randolph Police Department is actively investigating an incident that occurred Tuesday morning.

At 10:51 a.m., police responded to a Boylston Street home for a report of a home invasion in which two masked individuals entered the home and fled with cash. However, after officers conducted a preliminary investigation, it was determined that the residents of the home were specifically targeted based on their suspected involvement in a prostitution scheme, and that the suspects and at least one of the victims may be known to each other.

The Randolph Police Department does not believe that the suspects in the home invasion — two black males in their early 20s — are a danger to the community at-large. They allegedly fled the scene in a gray Ford Focus with red letters/numbers on the license plate.

As part of the investigation, police are continuing to interview the residents of the home.

“I want to assure residents that there is no threat to the general public,” Chief Pace said. “However, we are aggressively investigating this incident and working to locate and apprehend all individuals involved.”

The incident remains under investigation by the Randolph Police Department. The home has been secured, and Randolph Police detectives are in the process of obtaining a search warrant to aid in the investigation.

This is a breaking news update. Additional information will be released when it becomes available.
