Dracut Police Department to Hold Open Registration for Dracut Alert Program
DRACUT — Chief Peter Bartlett reports that the Dracut Police Department is holding an open registration event for the vital Dracut Alert Program this weekend.
Dracut Alert is a program for our communities high risk individuals who may have Alzheimer’s, developmental disabilities or any disability or condition that may cause them to be confused and disoriented should the person become separated from their family or caretakers.
This event will help the police department better serve our most vulnerable citizens when most needed.
WHEN:
Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 8 a.m. to noon
WHERE:
Dracut Police Department Community Room
110 Loon Hill Road, Dracut
WHAT:
“When a vulnerable member of our community wanders or goes missing, minutes count in the search and rescue process,” Chief Bartlett said. “The Dracut Alert program allows the Dracut Police Department to provide photographs and vital information about a missing resident immediately and without delay. I strongly encourage family members and caretakers to come to this event on Saturday and learn more about the Dracut Alert program.”
The event is open to anyone concerned about their loved ones and are either seeking more information or would like to sign up for Dracut Alert. Caretakers and or Family should bring an updated photo of their loved one. Dracut Police will be handing out bracelets and information to everyone who attends.
