Georgetown Police Issue Arrest Warrant For Suspect Involved in Motor Vehicle Theft
GEORGETOWN — Chief Donald C. Cudmore reports that the Georgetown Police Department issued an arrest warrant for a man who is believed to have stolen a utility truck and equipment from a business in town.
DAIN AL BLACKADAR, AGE 26, HOMELESS, is charged with:
- Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
- Larceny Under $250
On Saturday, May 6, Georgetown Police responded to Sam’s Transportation, 2 Industrial Way, after receiving a report that a 2015 GMC utility truck and other equipment were missing from the property.
After a detailed investigation, Detective Adam Raymond recovered the stolen utility vehicle in Ipswich. Stolen rims, which had already been sold, were recovered in Salisbury with the assistance of the Salisbury Police Department.
“Thanks to the quick response of Detective Raymond, one of our businesses had its missing property returned to them,” Chief Cudmore said. “The great working relationship that exists, and the cooperation of the Salisbury Police Department, especially Sgt. Steven Sforza, resulted in the person responsible for this crime being charged accordingly.”
