City of Rochester Honors 2016 Employee Achievements

ROCHESTER — City Manager Dan Fitzpatrick is pleased to announce that several employees were honored at an annual appreciation dinner for their achievements last year.

On March 24, the city recognized Jennifer Marsh, the 2016 Employee of the Year, the 2016 Employees of the Month, the employees who reached 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service in 2016, and the new 2016 employees.

“This annual event is a great way to recognize our employees for their achievements and milestones throughout the year,” City Manager Fitzpatrick said. “I want to thank our retirees for their years of service, congratulate our Employee of the Year Jennifer Marsh and our Employees of the Month, and thank the employees who received years of service awards for their continued dedication to the city.”

The ceremony was co-sponsored by the City of Rochester and the Rochester Elks Lodge #1393, which hosts the evening each year. Approximately 200 people attended.

“We accomplished a lot in 2016 and the Employee Appreciation Dinner is just one small way of showing our employees how much they and their work are valued,” Mayor Caroline McCarley said. “Thank you to the Elks for their continued support, and for once again providing a great evening for Rochester employees.”
