Littleton Police Arrest Man in Connection with Recent Break-ins
LITTLETON — Chief Matthew King reports that the Littleton Police Department arrested a man today in connection with a series of break-ins that have occurred in town over the last several months.
NEAL HOLLAND, AGE 35, OF LITTLETON has been arrested and charged with the following:
- Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle in the Nighttime
- Breaking and Entering into a Dwelling in the Nighttime
- Larceny Over $250
Over the last three months, there have been a series of breaks into homes, motor vehicles and other structures on victims’ property. On Thursday, Jan. 5, Littleton Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect to the public, which led to several tips identifying HOLLAND as a possible suspect.
On Friday, Jan. 6, before detectives were able to locate HOLLAND, he turned himself into Littleton Police as the suspect in the surveillance photo. He was subsequently arrested and held at the Littleton police station pending his arraignment at Ayer District Court.
“The department would like to thank the Littleton community and media for their efforts assisting the police in identifying this suspect,” Chief King said. “This is a perfect example of police and the community working together to resolve an issue that will ultimately bring this person to justice and give residents peace of mind.”
This incident remains under investigation by the Littleton Police Department. Additional charges may follow.
