Littleton Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Breaking and Entering Suspect
LITTLETON — Chief Matthew King reports that the Littleton Police Department is actively searching for a man involved in a series of break-ins and is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Over the last three months, there have been numerous reports of break-ins into houses, motor vehicles, sheds and garages in a concentrated area of town on Whitetail Way, Spartan Arrow Road, Hartwell Avenue and Spectacle Pond Road.
Several items have been taken in each of the break-ins, most notably kayaks and mountain bikes. In the majority of cases, the suspect has not used any force, taking the opportunity to enter unlocked homes and cars.
Police were able to obtain an image of the suspect from a security camera in a victim’s garage. The suspect is described as a light-skinned male in his late teens or early 20s, with facial hair, dark eyes and wearing glasses.
“We are strongly urging residents to lock and secure their homes, vehicles and any other structures on their property to deter this type of criminal activity,” Chief King said. “If anyone has information on this suspect, they should contact police immediately.”
Anyone who recognizes the suspect, sees anything out of the ordinary or finds that their belongings have been stolen should call the Littleton Police Department at 978-952-2300.
