Bedford Police Investigating Crash Involving Two Pedestrians with Injuries
BEDFORD — Chief John J. Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash this morning where two pedestrians were seriously injured.
On Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 7:03 a.m., Bedford Police responded to the area of 14 Pembroke Way on a report of a single motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, police learned that a male operator in a sedan struck two adult male pedestrians who were on Pembroke Way.
Both pedestrians were transported to Elliot Hospital in Manchester with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Bedford Police Department’s Tactical Accident Reconstruction team. At this time, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, however, police are looking into whether frost on the windshield of the sedan may be a factor.
Bedford Police remind residents to always make sure their front and back windshields are fully defrosted before operating their motor vehicles.
Pembroke Way, between Campbell Road and Lancaster Lane, will be closed for the next several hours during accident reconstruction.
